Agricultural Minister Mahinda Amarawira says that some private companies have decided to lower the price of 50 kg of urea in the local market from Rs. 18500 to Rs. 11000.
Accordingly, he expressed his belief that the relevant companies will sell fertilizers at that low price soon.
Minister Mahinda Amaraweera also said that he has already informed the relevant companies regarding the price reduction.
