Senior Superintendent of Police Indika De Silva, who retired on the 18th after serving as Senior Superintendent of Police for Polonnaruwa Division, has received death threats from within the police.

According to a complaint made by him to the Nittambuwa Police yesterday, a sub-inspector working in the Monaragala Police Division and a sergeant working in the Anuradhapura Division have threatened the retired Senior Superintendent of Police.
