Sri Lanka has moved up 15 steps in the world happiness index and is ranked 112th. In the year 2022, out of 146 countries, Sri Lanka was ranked 127th.
Finland has topped the index for the sixth year in a row.
Denmark, Iceland, Israel, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg and New Zealand are among the 10 happiest countries.
This time, 137 countries were included in this index and Sri Lanka got 4.4 points out of ten.
