The Polonnaruwa Police has started an investigation to arrest a health care assistant who stole 208 oxygen cylinders from the Polonnaruwa General Hospital for a long time.
The police say that these oxygen cylinders are empty and their value is over Rs. 8.1 million.
Police say that this investigation was started according to a complaint made yesterday by the Deputy Director of Polonnaruwa General Hospital, Dr. Mahinda Gunathilaka.
