Two minor earthquakes have been reported from Trincomalee, Gomarankadavala and Kirinda areas.
These earthquakes have been reported with a magnitude of 3 units on the Richter scale in the Gomarankadawala area and 2.6 units yesterday in the Kirinda area.
The Bureau of Geology and Mining says that an earthquake occurred in Trincomalee, Gomarankadawala, Thimbirivewa at around 3.30 am this morning.
