The “Award Ceremony” organized for the appreciation of members of the Sri Lanka Bar Association who have served 50 years in the legal field was held on 12th at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo.
Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, who completed 50 years of professional legal career, was also appreciated there and Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya presented the President with the “Abhinandana Award”.
This was organized in conjunction with the “National Annual Conference of the Sri Lanka Bar Association – 2023” which was held on 12th at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo and awards were presented under 03 categories.
26 lawyers including Juliana Margaret Koswatta, Walter Leslie de Silva, Ratnasabhapathi Arumugam Jegatheesan, President’s Counsel Upali A. Gunaratne, Kanagarathnam Ganeshyogan, President’s Advocate M.M. Zuhair, Judge Ashoka Nihal de Silva, Judge D.J. De S. Balapatabedi, Mr. W. D. J. Seneviratne received awards here.
