The registration fee of private security agencies will be increased.
Accordingly, the fee of Rs. 15,000 charged for the initial registration of a private security firm has been increased by Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 50,000 rupees.
Also, the fee for renewing the registration of such institutions has been increased from Rs. 10000 to Rs. 25000.
As the Minister of Defence, President Ranil Wickremesinghe has issued the relevant gazette notification.
