The professionals’ trade union said that if the government does not revise the new tax reformation, they will engage in industrial action from next week.
Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe, the media spokesperson of the (GMOA) Government Medical Officers’ Association, which represents the union, said that there are professionals representing all fields.
Therefore, they further stated that they believe the government will take immediate steps to solve this problem.
