It is against the government’s tax policy and raising the electricity bill.
Medical, engineering, and university doctors’ associations, as well as banking unions, have expressed their support for the symbolic strike.
In this regard, a trade union discussion was held in Colombo yesterday (16).
Accordingly, it has been decided to declare a black week on the 22nd before the token strike.
