President Ranil Wickramasinghe has ordered to take steps to continue supplying uninterrupted electricity to consumers with the implementation of the electricity bill increase approved by the Public Utilities Commission.
The Presidential Media Division says that the President gave this order to the Minister of Power and Energy and related officials.
Also, with the increase in electricity bill, the President has ordered to provide relief to low-income families and to provide solar panels for religious places and government educational institutions.
