The Sri Lanka Railways says that several train services that were scheduled to run today (13) have been cancelled.
The railway department said that the train drivers union has initiated the strike.
Accordingly, several trains, including office trains running on main and coastal railways, have been canceled today.
Due to the sudden cancellation of scheduled trains, a large number of passengers are suffering.
