The Attorney General has instructed the CID to arrest the board of directors of the Sri Lankan agency on board regarding the burning of Express Pearl and produce them in court.
Accordingly, a special police team from the CID has gone to the office of the Shipping Agency and their residences to arrest the members of the board of directors. A senior CID official said that some of them were found to be in hiding, even turning off their phones.
