The court declares that if the Minister of State Mrs. Diana Gamage has committed an offense under the Immigration Act, there is no need for a warrant to arrest her and bring her to court.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court has announced this to the Criminal Investigation Department today in open court.
That is when the complaint filed today (09) calling for an investigation into the birth certificate, national identity card and passports of Mrs. Diana Gamage was called.
After considering the facts presented there, the magistrate said this.
