The Ministry of Education states that graduates under the age of 40 working in any position in the public service can apply for the competitive examination for the recruitment of school teachers.
Accepting of applications has commenced for the competitive exam to recruit school teachers.
The Ministry of Education also says that since there are a large number of teacher vacancies for General Certificate of Education A/L classes, this step is being taken to fill them.
