It is reported that the local government election process has been hampered due to the new order issued by the President to prevent government institutions from acquiring goods and services on credit basis.
In every election held, the Election Commission procured goods and services on credit basis and released the necessary money from time to time.
All goods and services including fuel, buses, printing expenses and the use of government employees are obtained by the Election Commission on credit basis and it is reported that due to this order, the election has been hampered.
Yesterday, the President issued a new order that if government institutions obtain goods and services on loan basis, the relevant officials shall be personally responsible for them.
