The Public Utilities Commission says that yesterday (26), a directive was given to the Ceylon Electricity Board to maintain a continuous electricity supply until the end of the GCE A/L examination.
This is stated in the letter sent by the Public Utilities Commission to the Human Rights Commission.
The Public Utilities Commission also said that if the Electricity Board fails to comply with the order, they will consider it as a violation of the conditions and would take legal action.
