According to the Department of Census and Statistics, Sri Lanka’s inflation has decreased in December compared to last November.
Headline inflation based on the National Consumer Price Index (NCPI) eased to 59.2% in December 2022 compared to 65.0% in November.
Food inflation also eased to 59.3% in December compared to 69.8% in November.
