Officers of the Central Anti-Corruption Task Force in Panadura Walane, who raided a Facebook party in a restaurant on the 30th floor of an apartment building in Colombo, which is frequented by elites and tycoons, have arrested four people, including a young woman who was found to be in possession of drugs.
The young woman studied law in England with the hope of becoming a lawyer. Among the other three, there is a software engineer, and all these four are children of rich people, the Central Anti-Corruption Task Force said.
Around 200 young people have participated in this party. When the officers of the Central Anti-Corruption Task Force raided the place in the early morning, many people were lying intoxicated.
The anti-corruption Task Force states that drug sales have been organized for the youths who came to this party.
The anti-corruption force stated that kush, cocaine, and drug pills were sold there and the arrested young woman and the three young men were in possession of these drugs.
The location was raided based on a search warrant obtained from the Colombo Fort Court.
