Yesterday, the Police Special Task Force found a pagoda that was recovered from a treasure and was ready to be sold for a price of Rs. 1 billion.
Two suspects were also arrested.
The Police Special Task Force mentions that this pagoda was found in a house in Weyangoda Central Park, Yatagama.
The Special Task Force stated that one of the two suspects arrested is a resident of that house and the other suspect is a resident of Kongala. They are 22 and 34 years old.
The Special Task Force also mentioned that this pagoda is studded with gems. The suspects and the pagoda have been handed over to the Weyangoda Police Station for further investigation.
