Cannabis stock was found in a tipper truck which was in the custody of the Mannar court

The Police Narcotics Bureau said that 116 kilos and 768 grams of Kerala ganja were found yesterday hidden in a secret compartment of the tipper, which had been in the custody of the Mannar court for more than a month, arrested for transporting a consignment of Kerala ganja.

According to information received by the Police Narcotics Bureau that a cargo of Kerala ganja brought from India by sea was being transported in a tipper; This tipper was checked in Mannar on November 22. There, 24 kilos and 200 grams of ganja were found in this tipper.

There, the Police Narcotics Bureau arrested the driver and another person on suspicion. Both of them are still in remand. The tipper was in judicial custody. The owners of the tipper have made a lot of effort to free it from the custody of the court. During the investigation, the officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau found that there is a large stock of ganja in a secret chamber, so they are trying to free the tipper.

Accordingly, during the inspection of the tipper with the help of the Police Special Task Force yesterday at the court itself, it was possible to find the cannabis stock in a secret compartment of the tipper.
