The largest number of people who went for foreign jobs was recorded this year

For the first time in the history of Sri Lanka, more than 300,000 people have registered for foreign jobs in this year alone.

They are registered with the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau.

Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara says that they will raise the standard of living of their families and contribute positively to the crisis country is facing.
