Two young Russian girls fought yesterday at a hotel in Hikkaduwa Waawala.
There, one Russian girl was injured by the attack of the other Russian girl and was admitted to Arachchikanda Hospital for treatment.
A 26-year-old Russian girl named JULIIA NEPRIKOVA has been arrested in connection with this attack.
Investigations have revealed that she has a boyfriend in this country and was with that boyfriend when the attack occurred.
The Hikkaduwa Police stated that she is staying in this country for 03 months and the young woman who was attacked by her had been staying in this country for 08 years.
From the investigations, it appeared to the Police that these two Russian women were friends some time ago and the conflict occurred because of something that happened with their friendship.
The arrested Russian girl was later released on police bail.
