President Ranil Wickramasinghe has revealed in Parliament today about the companies, luxury houses and hotels that use electricity which are chaired by the chairman of the Public Utilities Commission, who said that he will not allow the electricity bill to be increased.
The President says that he has received several complaints against the statement of the Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission and that he should meet him.
Mr. Janaka Ratnayake is the chairman of the Sri Lanka Public Utilities Commission.
The President also reminded that if the electricity charges increase, the bill of the chairman’s company will also increase.
