The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that there will be a 15-hour water cut in many areas of Colombo from 10.00 pm today (02) to 1.00 pm the next day due to an essential maintenance work.
The board announced that water supply to areas Colombo 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 will be suspended.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board advises the people to store the necessary water in advance as there is a water cut.
The notice issued by the board stated that this water cut is due to the laying of new transmission pipelines related to the Ambatale Energy Improvement Project.
