The fuel ship “Super Eastern” which left China for Sri Lanka, is scheduled to arrive at the port of Colombo today (26).

The Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka says that the ship will bring 10.6 million liters (9,000 metric tons) of diesel.

This is a fuel stock donated by China.

China had agreed to provide this fuel stock to fishermen and farmers who live in remote areas of Sri Lanka and are facing difficulties due to the current economy.
