The Motor Transport Department has decided to print only 50 cards per day under the one-day service system for driving licences.
That is until the end of the printing and distribution of 600,000 cards for the temporary driving licenses issued by the Department of Motor Transport due to the lack of cards that have been affected in the past.
500,000 cards have been received to cover the normal capacity of the department.
The printing of those cards started last Monday (14).
The department has the capacity to print 1,700 cards in a day.
Accordingly, 50 cards are planned to be printed for the one-day service.
The department said that the remaining 1,650 cards, which are the daily production capacity, will be printed and distributed for the 600,000 temporary license holders until the target is achieved.
