The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) says that 1,500 tourists visited Sri Lanka in May despite the spread of the Covid 19 virus.
More people from China, Germany and the United States have visited Sri Lanka this month, according to official figures.
4000 foreigners visited Sri Lanka in April as well. During the last five months up to May this year, 15294 foreigners visited the country.
