Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that 06 men and 3 women were arrested on suspicion.
Two of the men and one of the women are foreigners. They have been identified as citizens of Great Britain.
Police investigations have revealed that they had held the party with several of their partners while staying in the country and engaged in business activities. Among those partners were several Muslim businessmen.
Sources said that the raid was carried out following a complaint lodged with the police by a person staying at the apartment complex.
The suspects are due to be produced in court today, said Ajith Raihana.
