A fish trader who was ready to sell a Valampuri for Rs. 15 million was arrested today by the officers of the Central Anti-Corruption Force in Walana, Panadura.
The Central Anti-Corruption Force stated that they prepared to sell the Valampuri to a group of police officers disguised as businessmen near the Atagahawela Lake in Ridigama, Kurunegala.
It has also been revealed that this Valampuri belongs to a friend of this fish trader who is staying in Dubai. The Central Anti-Corruption Force also says that the friend in Dubai has also been engaged in the operation of selling this Valampuri through social media.
