Due to the bad weather conditions, the Road Development Authority asked the drivers to keep their front lights on and drive their vehicles on the highways.
The authority also requests the drivers to maintain the maximum speed limit of 60 km per hour on the Southern Expressway.
The Road Development Authority has also taken steps to display the speed limits through electronic boards.
