Ceylon Petroleum Statutory Corporation says in a statement that the statement made yesterday (5) by Member of Parliament, Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara, that serious corruption has taken place in the importation of Brent fuel is completely false and baseless.
It is also mentioned in the announcement that Ceylon Petroleum Corporation always follows the tender procedure and government-approved procurement method when importing fuel.
