Sri Lankan Air Force’s training aircraft – Cessna 150, made an emergency landing at Irakkakandi north of Nilaveli today.
The Sri Lanka Air Force says that the landing was due to a technical fault in the aircraft.
No injuries or damage were reported to the crew, which included two pilots.
The catastrophe that could have occurred could have been prevented on the skill of the pilots.
