The All Island Medical Officers’ Association (ACMOA) requests the Secretary of Health to provide new doctors with proper training and facilities in deploying them for Covid control.
Dr. Jayantha Bandara, Secretary of the All-Island Medical Officers’ Association, said that new doctors should be provided with the necessary equipment, including personal protective equipment, training to deal with an infectious disease and the provision of anti-Covid vaccines to those doctors and their family.
Without that, the deployment of new doctors for Kovid suppression will not be able to achieve the desired results, he said.
