The opening ceremony of establishing 1,000 national schools across the country will be held on the 10th of this month.
The Ministry of Education says that Provincial Council schools with more than 750 students have been selected to be made as a national school and those schools have been selected to represent each district.
One million rupees will be given to each of the 1000 newly named national schools for development.
