Due to a dispute between drug traffickers, one person was killed and another person was injured in a shooting that took place in Ahungalla Bogahapitiya last night.
The two were shot while traveling in a three-wheeler on the Uragasmanhandiya road.
The police say that the shooting was done with a 12-bore weapon.
The deceased is a 29-year-old resident of Ahungalle. The other person who was shot was 26 years old.
