The Commissioner General of Examinations Mr. L. M. D.Dharasena said that an examination certificate issued by the Department of Examinations is not essential in issuing applications for university admission.
The A/L Commissioner General of Examinations also said that the A/L results certificate issued by the school principal is sufficient to apply for the university entry.
Otherwise, the paid certificate provided by the Examination Department’s official website (under the confirmation of results) can be submitted.
Mr. Dharmasena said that presenting the result sheet obtained from the Examination Department’s official website at the University entry would be enough be enough for the private applicants.
