Construction projects stalled due to import restrictions

According to the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, 95% of the construction projects in the country have stalled.

Its vice-president Mr. M. D. Paul said that the shortage of raw materials in the country has affected this situation due to the restriction of the import of goods.

He said that due to this, the economy of a large number of people working in the construction sector has been severely affected.
