Two people have died in a motorcycle accident that happened early this morning at Wennappuwa Kolonjadiya on the Colombo-Puttalam main road.
The two people who were traveling on the motorcycle have died. They are residents of Colombo 10 and Colombo 13.
The accident took place when the two of them were traveling at high speed, unable to control the motorcycle, ran off the road and collided with a lorry parked on the side of the road.
Wennappuwa Police stated that the motorcyclist died at the spot and the rear rider died after being hospitalized.
