Releasing of Petrol from Sapugaskanda is started

The Ministry of Power and Energy says that the release of petrol will resume from the Sapugaskanda Petroleum Refinery.

Meanwhile, the ministry also said that the unloading of fuel stocks from the ship carrying 36,500 metric tons of petrol that reached Sri Lanka last night (30) will begin today.

Also, steps have been taken to release 4000 metric tons of diesel and 3000 metric tons of petrol daily, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy further says.
