A person involved in drug trafficking has been killed in a shooting at Mattakkuliya Aliyawatta last night.
The police say that the shooting was done by two people who came on a motorcycle.
A 26-year-old resident of Mattakkuliya has been murdered this way.
The police also say that the murder was caused by a conflict between two gangs regarding a drug racket that had invited the person to Aliyawatta and carried out the shooting.
