Five people including a woman have been arrested along with a flint-type firearm by the Police Special Task Force who identified the group that broke into Mr. Cut Salon in Kehelbadara and shot a man and fled.
The arrested suspects are between 23 and 30 years old. They are residents of Pethiagoda, Kotuguda and Makevita.
According to the information received by the officers of the Special Task Force’s Gonahena camp, these suspects have been arrested.
Suspects fired bullets at Mr. Cut Salon in response to the killing of Pas Podda in front of the Gampaha court. There, a young man named Achira Nethruwan, who was working as a barber, was killed when the target was mistaken.
