Former Member of Parliament Mr. Ranjan Ramanayake, who is serving a prison sentence for contempt of court, came to Colombo City Center this evening to watch a special screening of the movie ‘The Game’.
It is Ranjan Ramanayake’s final film he acted on before going to jail.
Ranjan Ramanayake had appealed for a chance to watch its premiere, but it was rejected.
This time, after Mr. Ranjan Ramanayake was allowed to watch this special scene, he has been brought to the cinema hall to watch the movie under the protection of prison officials.
