Madhavi Anthony and six other suspects arrested under the quarantine law for attending the birthday party of the controversial beautician Chandimal Jayasinghe at the Shangri-La Hotel have been released on bail after being produced before a Colombo court today (04).
Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that after informing the Colombo Central Divisional Medical Officer about the six suspects who were released on bail and five out of them have been sent to the Government Quarantine Center in Passara.
Ajith Rohana further stated that Chandimal Jayasinghe’s mother was also among the six released on bail and she was placed under quarantine at home.
