A cabinet sub-committee headed by President Ranil Wickramasinghe has been appointed to organize and lead the activities of the Independence Day commemoration ceremony to be held on the day February 4, 2023, which completes 75 years after the country inherited independence.
As the Minister of State Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena has submitted the proposal in this regard to the Cabinet meeting.
Accordingly, the sub-committee approved by the Cabinet is as follows.
