The Tangalle police’s criminal investigation department today arrested the brother of MP Dilip Wedaarachchi for allegedly leading the attack on the Carlton house on May 9.
He was arrested at his home in Tangalle.
When the police went to arrest him, there was a riot. The police say that a large group of people surrounded the police officers and tried to prevent him from being arrested.
