A fire broke out in a tourist hotel in Vaulagoda, Hikkaduwa this night.
The top floor of the hotel’s four-story building was the first to catch fire. The floor was almost completely destroyed by the fire.
The spread of the fire to other buildings has been controlled and no loss of life has been reported so far.
