Lanka Sathosa sources say that thieves have broken into five Lanka Sathosa shops in the past two months.

Sources also say that Lanka Sathosa stores in Seeduwa, Moratuwa, Kolonnawa, Mulleriyawa, and Athurugiriya were broken into within the last two months.

According to the report, goods worth Rs. 6,800,000 were stolen from the Siduwa store and more than Rs. 6,000,000 from the Athurigiriya store, and more than Rs. 10,000,000 worth of goods were stolen from the other 3 stores.

Last week, the Sri Lanka Sathosa branch in Athugiriya was robbed and it mentioned that the Sathosa employees allege that it was robbed with the intervention of a high official to take revenge on the manager, and it was done to make up for the lack of goods due to the alleged non-transparent transactions in the Athugiriya branch.
