The Ministry of Health says that tests will begin today (8) to determine whether people are infected with Monkeypox.
Dr. Anwar Hamdani, Director of Medical Technologies Services of the Ministry of Health, stated that the test kits needed for those tests had been received from the World Health Organization.
He also mentioned that the test kits would be given to Borella Medical Research Institute and Kandy General Hospital today.
