The Cabinet has approved the restructuring of the Ceylon Electricity Board.
It was in the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held today.
Power and Energy Minister Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera says that a committee will be appointed to give recommendations for that.
The report of the respective committee is expected within a month.
The minister said that revised tariff rates for renewable energy projects were also approved in the cabinet meeting.
