The National Fuel Pass QR system will be implemented from tomorrow (01) in all the filling stations island wide.
By the QR system only to issue fuelEnergy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara requested from all the filling stations and management to issue fuel only according to the QR system and to check the vehicle number plate along with the QR code to check the QR code.
However, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation informs the public to take the clear photos or videos of the unusual incidents if they appear to be issuing fuel outside from the QR code system.
The Ministry will be made aware of the weekly fuel quota for vehicles that are in effect tomorrow.
The Minister has said that it would be equal to the fuel quota released last week.
